Looking out of the window on a flight from Sri Lanka to Sydney in August 1984, I could not hide my disappointment, as all I saw was barren land and vast areas of desert. Since then most of my time has been spent residing on the Central Coast of New South Wales. Having a passion for photography and travel, my opinion quickly changed as I began to absorb the breathtaking scenery this country has to offer.
